The event was held at The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead. This is a spectacular new indoor ski and board centre packed full of really helpful staff from the big smile at reception through to the easy going technical man who was, himself, packed full of answers to all our questions! We are most grateful to have been supplied with brilliant warm clothing and boots that kept us toasty warm for the duration on the slope.

This was not an easy shoot. Even with powerful floodlighting and snow as white as....well....snow actually, we were really struggling for light to properly capture the action. Outside we would have been shooting at up to 1/2000ths of a second but we had to deal with speeds as low as just 1/60th! We did a reasonable job for our first time at a ski event and for our first time indoors too, but apologies if these are not up to the same standard as our other galleries here. However, if the images are not enlarged above regular 8 x 10 we think they should be ok :-)
