Hotgunz 2012
Another enjoyable Elmer Francisco Federation event where we were the Official event photographers, this time at the NMPSA range at Bulua in CDO. Firstly a thank you to Sheryl and Kayla of EFF who looked after me in fine style with food and drink and very enjoyable Filipino hospitality :-)
This was a pistol shooting event with some very challenging targets. I attended alone on Friday and Love Mae joined me on the Saturday to assist in the variety of shots (pun excused!) that were required.
The Range Officers were all very good in controlling the specific ranges they were allocated to in a very safe manner. As the event photographer I was able to get some shots that would not typically be obtained from spectators - check out the gallery titled The Danger Zone for some action shots in front of discharging pistols! I am not going to disclose how these were obtained but I can assure you there was no possiblity of me getting shot in the process!
The Range Officers were also very helpful and friendly as were many of the competitors. it was simply another sport where many like minded individuals get together and make the number one priority "having fun" (or maybe the second priority after "being safe!").
This gallery contains high quality Canon DSLR images (but sadly not from my 5D MkII as it has been sent to Canon Philippines for repair) and these give you a flavour of the event and those in attendance. If you are actually featured in any of these images and you would like to have full size, non watermarked, original versions, please email us and we will explain how this can be organized.
It was fun! Thank you!
Peter :-)
