Setup & Sound Test
We were very pleased to be invited along to this gig and to also capture the band setting up and sound testing. The guys were in a very relaxed mood, having fun and enjoying getting the light and sound just right. As I arrived I saw Mark outside the venue - I said to my friend, "There's a sight you don't see every day in Bedford. An all American rock star buying a burger in Bedford!" Sorry about the standard of English hamburgers Mark but it seemed to have given you enough energy to make it through the show!
We had time to meet each member of the band and everyone in the road crew. I can honestly say that you would not wish to meet nicer people than this bunch. Warm introductions, quick to smile and oh man....super talented too! We hope these images give you a feel of the atmosphere in the building leading up to the event and an insight into what goes on before you walk through the doors. As far as we were concerned, they sounded as great the moment they turned on the mics on as they did during the gig - If you ever write a list of the 100 things you must do before you die, make sure that seeing this band live is one of them!
The event was staged by promoter and good friend Mark Plummer of East-West Promotions and it went like clockwork. So if you are a band or a fan, check out their website here :- http://www.eastwestpromotions.co.uk/
Hope you enjoy these images as much as we did capturing them. If you do, please leave a comment! If you do not, please leave a comment as well!
