Elana James, Whit Smith and Jake Erwin make up the Hot Club of Cowtown who appeared at the Civic theatre in Bedford, England in October 2010. Another cracking gig staged by eastwest promotions http://www.eastwestpromotions.co.uk with support band the Toy Hearts who we have featured here in the music section in another gallery.

With a couple of appearances on Jools Holland behind them, this band has a good following and played to a packed house who really enjoyed the gig.

The video in this section comprises the first two 3 minute songs of their set and is not actually a true representation of the vitality of this band that they displayed later on. May this be a warning to all bands to begin as you mean to carry on! But I sometimes shoot whole songs at the beginning, in the middle and at the end of the set so its pot luck what I catch in full really.

This is a BIg file to download so if you have a slow connection or if you are too impation to wait, maybe select the iPod size rather than HiDef! But I reckon its worth the wait!
