Devine Mercy Shrine
A trip to the Devine Mercy Shrine in Elsalvador with ChanChan tagging along too. He had fun running around and making noise where you are supposed to move slowly and be quiet :-) Its great being a boy! LOL.
I fired off a few shots of other people in attendance as well. All very friendly and very smiley as you can see! Thanks for being such great subjects! :-) The Shrine is quite a work of art and very large when you get up close. The two angled sections are actually stairways (almost to heaven) but these were closed to the public. The gardens were immaculate as can be seen and the place was a very enjoyable break from the dusty, littered streets just outside. If only the culture would change in regard to throwing litter (trash) in this country. This must start at school so I hope that teachers soon start to tell children to put litter in the bin or take it home!
Enjoy the pix!
PP :-)
