Oh my goodness! Just when you think you can't have any more fun in Iligan, you find another venue where you can!

The old dilapidated hotel (previously called The Village I believe) has a fantastic function area that is partly indoors and partly outdoors, partly on land and partly on water! Whoever dreamt this place up gets five gold stars from me as a designer of venues :-) It is brilliantly disguised as nothing at all from the road, But as soon as you enter, the venue opens up infront of you with too much to look at first! A sunken open air dancefloor, covered ground level seating surround, big stage, water features, a footbridge or two, upper seating galleries under cover of the roof, a couple of bars a second DJ location and if all that is not enough to blow you away, great sound and lighting too!

The event, DEJAVU" was a dance night featuring DJ Leandro and the Patiqueros drum trio with additional entertainment from a fashion show and a really hot fire show. I did not take my camera gear but could not resist recording this event just for fun so went and picked it up from the hotel :-)

I was introduced to the event organiser, Joseph, who is my kinda guy! Joseph, I am really happy to upload this for you as you did such a great job putting the event together and it was so great to shoot, edit and produce.
