VKC really turned it up for this event! Rob made a stunning 2nd place with Chris 8th and me 20th, my best finish so far that season. There was no Premier Division yet but it was being formed by the introduction of the Master Class - the top 20 in Division 1. I was later to make Masterclass before it was converted into the Premier Division and still have my bright yellow bib with a black "M" on in a pot at Dad's house :-) We were never sure if being a Master was a good or a bad thing. When Judges saw that bib, maybe they looked closer or maybe that gave more benifit of the doubt! Who knows! The issues with being incorrectly judged seem as controversial today as at any time - some things never change!

And on the subject of Judges, they were busy here...not a single clean run :-)
