MISS CAGAYAN DE ORO 2013
Here you will find a handfull of group images from both around the pool and during table hopping at the afterparty.
This gallery, unusually, features my own family who attended to enjoy the event and the splendid food provided by N Hotel. We were joined at our table by 6 of the contestants who really enjoyed being entertained by my very happy baby girl. I suggested she may enter Miss Cagayan de Oro 2030 by which time this years contestants may well be judges! What a thought!
It was great to meet some of the girls and to see how entering such an event allows them and encourages them to come out of their shell, be confident and discover they can actually become quite a different person to the one who may have joined the competition with some nervousness, shyness and trepidation. I think it is great to do something outside your regular activities, and even your comfort zone, to push yourself and see who can become. They were all very charming and, of course, possessed all the same wholesome qualities of the lovely Filipina that the rest of the world admires. A very enjoyable shoot indeed :-)
