Sapra Firing Range - Philippines : We attended the Iligan Rifleman's Cup event at the sapra Firing Range this weekend. This is an amazing range set partly in a quarry with a mountain backdrop. Targets are located at 200m 250m and 300m at various locations on the mountainside. Safety is good here with good communication all round :-) We were observing the 200m competition and took some images that we hope capture some of the elements of the sport that are not immediately obvious. Love Mae and I, together with our friend Ana Marie tried our hand also. I was pleased to outshoot my wife of course so that my male ego remains undamaged! Over 200m the ammunition will follow a parabolic curve that takes it up to 350mm above the target before dropping down to strike it. We wish to thank the guys who were so friendly and accommodating and we hope they enjoy enjoy these images :-)
